◎　本舞台（まわり舞台）
舞台全体としては間口30.580�E×奥行き10.502�E出あるが、この中で本舞台部分は間口17.211�E×奥行き10.502�Eとなる。
大臣通り間口は10.538�E、プロセニアムの高さは4.256�Eである。
舞台床前面には厚30�@の桧板が張られている。
本舞台中央には直径8.426�E、人力操作、下廻しの廻り舞台が設置され、さらにその中に、人力操作で1.485�E×0.600�Eの迫（せ）りが１カ所、その他切穴や定式穴が数カ所設けられている。
廻り舞台寸法としては、比較的小さい。
大臣柱は普通の柱とほぼ同様なものを用い、その外側を板囲いによって取り囲み、大きな寸法に見せかけているが、材料は粗末である。
上手大臣柱の外側には２層の義床が置かれ、２階は畳敷きとなっている。
下手反対側には、ほぼ対照的にお囃子が配置されているが、内部には配電盤の設備が設けられ電気配線が集中していて、実際どの程度のお囃子の機能を持っていたか不明である。
側舞台下手は小道具置き場、控え室（中央に囲炉裏）の他、綱もと、馬立てが配置され、同じく上手には馬立てと大道具置き場が設けられている。
なお舞台背面は直接楽屋廊下に接していて、その一部から奈落（ならく）へ通じる石段が設けられている。

□Structure
The Yachiyoza Theateris a two‐storied wooden buildinginthe kabuki
theater style ofthe Edo era（1603−1867）・ln spite of being a Japanese‐styIe theater，some portions of the Yachiyoza Theater are quite western：forexample，iron tubes for centain columns，and a western‐styIe girder structure.
Audience seats，covered with　tatami mat,are located at the1st and 2nd floor．The seating capacityis about is700 at present．

Stage

At the center of the main stage,There is "mawari butai",or roating stage.This is helpful forsmooth scene change in pIays，as the next scene can be prepared on the rear side while the
first scene is being performed.

Naraku

The raiIs and wheeIs for this rotating stage were made by a German company. The mezzanine spreading from the stage to hanamichi is calIed the
“naraku（hell).”
